Fearless Diversity
The Podcast: Those knotty issues that bosses, leaders and managers chew over in their head as they face the day ahead whether that be demands to ’take a side’ in current social/political conflicts, how they make staff groups accountable, jokes and banter, how to take responsibility for taking decisions yet consult meaningfully with staff so it’s not some exercise in faux democracy, the list goes on. Leaders in work are faced with dilemmas every day that flow from human interactions at work which can be so disruptive in and to their organisations. Rachel Cashman and former standup comedian and broadcaster Simon Fanshawe (Diversity by Design– Diversity solutions to strategic questions ) will be ‘eating problems for breakfast’. The podcast is a moment of exploration, inquiry and curiosity – a pause for leaders and managers on their way to work to turn over thoughts and ideas around these issues and how to solve them.
Simon and Rachel have known each other for a long time. And they argue quite a lot. They are generally good at resolving their disagreements even when they hurt. They both bring that quality in their work which, in their different ways, engages organisations with finding ways through some of their trickiest human issues.
